At Mazadastore, we understand that waiting for your next great read is the hardest part. That is why we have built our shipping process to be straightforward, reliable, and fully transparent. Every book ordered from us is prepared and shipped directly from our warehouse in the United States, so you always know exactly where your order is and when it will arrive at your door.

This Shipping Policy outlines everything you need to know about how we process and deliver your orders, including processing times, shipping rates, delivery estimates, and how we handle any issues along the way. Order Processing Time

Once you place an order with us, our team gets to work preparing it for shipment. Standard order processing takes 2 to 4 business days, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time (PT). During this time, we verify your order details, carefully inspect each book for quality, package your order securely, and hand it over to our shipping carriers.

Please note that processing time does not include weekends or United States federal holidays. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will begin processing on the following Monday.

Order Cut-Off Time

To give your order the best chance of shipping the same day it enters production, please place your order before 4:00 PM Pacific Time (PT), Monday through Friday. Orders placed after the cut-off time will be processed starting the next business day. We do this to make sure every order gets the attention it deserves rather than being rushed at the end of the day.

Shipping Time and Delivery Estimates

Once your order leaves our warehouse, standard delivery takes 6 to 8 business days, Monday through Friday. This means that from the moment you click "Place Order" to the moment the book arrives in your hands, you can expect the entire journey to take approximately 8 to 12 business days, depending on your location within the United States.

Please keep in mind that delivery estimates are just that, estimates. While we work hard to get your books to you as quickly as possible, the final delivery time depends on the carrier and your specific address. Rural and remote areas within the United States may occasionally experience slightly longer transit times.

Shipping Rates

We have kept our shipping rates as simple and straightforward as possible, with only two scenarios to remember.

Free Standard Shipping applies to every order of $99.00 or more. No promo codes, no hidden conditions, no minimum quantity rules. Spend $99 or more and we cover the shipping entirely.

Standard Shipping Fee of $7.99 applies to orders under $99.00. This flat rate is the same whether you order one book or several, as long as the order total stays below the free shipping threshold.

All shipping rates are displayed clearly at checkout before you complete your purchase, so there are never any surprises when you finalize your order.

How Shipping Fees Are Calculated

Our shipping fee structure is based on the total value of your order before tax, not the weight of the books or the distance they travel. We chose this flat-rate approach because we believe pricing should be easy to understand. You should not need a calculator to figure out what shipping will cost you.

If your cart total reaches $99.00 or more after any discounts but before tax, shipping is automatically free. If your total is below $99.00, a flat $7.99 shipping fee is added at checkout. That is the entire formula.

Shipping Carriers

We partner with the three most reliable shipping providers in the United States to make sure your books arrive safely and on time:

  • FedEx for dependable delivery across most urban and suburban areas
  • UPS for consistent service with detailed tracking updates
  • USPS (United States Postal Service) for addresses in areas best served by the postal network

The specific carrier used for your order depends on your delivery address and the most efficient routing available at the time of shipment. You will always see the final carrier and tracking information in your shipping confirmation email.

Order Tracking

As soon as your order ships, we will send you a shipping confirmation email that contains your tracking number and a direct link to the carrier's tracking page. You can monitor your package from the moment it leaves our warehouse until it arrives at your doorstep.

If you have created an account with us, you can also check the status of any order by logging in and visiting your order history. If you cannot find your tracking email, please check your spam folder first, and if it is still missing, reach out to us at contact@mazadastore.com and we will resend it right away.

Shipping Areas

Mazadastore currently ships within the contiguous United States only. This means we deliver to the 48 continental states and Washington D.C.

Shipping Restrictions

At this time, we are unable to ship to the following destinations:

  • Alaska and Hawaii
  • PO Boxes
  • APO, FPO, and DPO military addresses
  • US territories such as Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands
  • International addresses (we do not ship outside the United States)

If you enter a restricted address at checkout, our system will notify you before the order is placed. If a restricted address is somehow processed, we will contact you within one business day to arrange a valid shipping address or issue a full refund.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is applied to your order in accordance with applicable state and local tax laws. The exact tax amount depends on where your order is being shipped. Rather than asking you to calculate anything yourself, our checkout system determines the correct tax rate for your specific shipping address and displays the final tax amount on the order summary page before you confirm your purchase.

This way, the price you see at checkout is the final price you pay, with no surprise charges after the fact.

Address Changes and Accuracy

We ship to the address you enter at checkout, so please double-check that every detail is correct before confirming your order. This includes the recipient's name, street address, apartment or suite number, city, state, and zip code.

If you notice a mistake in your shipping address after placing an order, please contact us at contact@mazadastore.com as soon as possible. We can update the address if your order has not yet entered the shipping stage, which is usually within the first 24 hours after purchase. Once the order has been handed over to the carrier, we are no longer able to change the destination. In that case, you may need to wait for the package to be returned to us, at which point we can reship it to the correct address (additional shipping fees may apply).

Mazadastore is not responsible for orders that are delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer at checkout.

Delivery Problems

We do everything we can on our end to make sure your order arrives safely, but occasionally things go wrong during the delivery process. Here is how we handle the most common issues.

Package marked as delivered but not received. If the tracking shows your package was delivered but you cannot find it, please check with your neighbors, household members, and your building's front desk or mail room first. Also look around your property, as carriers sometimes leave packages in less obvious spots to keep them out of sight. If you still cannot locate your package after 48 hours, contact us at contact@mazadastore.com and we will open an investigation with the carrier.

Package stuck in transit. If tracking shows no movement for more than 5 business days, please reach out to us. We will contact the carrier directly and work with you to either locate the shipment or issue a replacement or refund.

Damaged or Lost Items

Every book at Mazadastore is carefully inspected and packaged before shipping, but damage during transit can still occasionally happen.

If your book arrives damaged, please email contact@mazadastore.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of both the damaged book and the shipping packaging. We will send you a replacement copy at no cost, or issue a full refund if a replacement is not available.

If your package is confirmed lost by the carrier after an investigation, we will send a replacement right away at no additional cost. If the book is out of stock, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.

Handling Charges

We believe in straightforward pricing, which is why Mazadastore does not charge any additional handling fees. The shipping rate you see at checkout is the only fee related to getting your order to you. There are no packaging fees, no processing fees, and no hidden surcharges of any kind.

Issue Resolution Time

When something goes wrong, we do not make you wait. Our standard resolution time for shipping-related issues is 5 to 7 business days from the moment you contact us. This includes the time needed to investigate the problem with the carrier, confirm the facts, and arrange the appropriate solution, whether that is a replacement, refund, or reshipment.

For urgent issues, we will always respond within one business day to acknowledge the problem and begin working on a resolution, even if the full fix takes a few days longer.

Delayed or Out-of-Stock Items

Every book listed on our website is in stock at the time of listing. However, in rare cases, an item may sell out before our inventory system can update, or a book we expected to restock may be delayed by our supplier.

If this happens with your order, we will contact you within one business day of placing the order to explain the situation and give you two options: wait for the book to become available again, with a clear timeline from us, or receive a full refund immediately. We will never ship a partial order without letting you know first, and we will never keep your money for a book we cannot deliver.

Delays Outside Our Control

While we always do our best to get your books to you on time, some delays are beyond our ability to prevent. These include:

  • Severe weather such as hurricanes, snowstorms, or flooding affecting carrier operations
  • Natural disasters in the origin, destination, or transit areas
  • Carrier service disruptions including strikes, network outages, or operational backlogs
  • Peak shipping seasons such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the December holidays
  • Customs or regulatory delays in rare cases involving remote destinations

When one of these situations affects your order, we will notify you as soon as we become aware of it, and we will keep you updated as the situation evolves. While we cannot speed up the carrier in these cases, we are fully committed to making sure your order eventually arrives, and we will work with you on any fair solution if the delay becomes unreasonable.

In short, we offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery for books in like-new condition, with full details available on the returns page.
