Who is Mazadastore?
Mazadastore is an online bookstore based in Los Angeles, California, operated by Cjoy LLC. We specialize in new books across three categories that our team genuinely loves, which are Biographies and Memoirs, Cookbooks and Food, and Self-Help. Every book in our catalog is sourced from authorized publishers and distributors in the United States.
Where are you located?
Our business office and warehouse are located at 3862 Lyceum Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90066, United States. All orders are shipped from our warehouse within the contiguous United States.
Do you sell used or rare books?
No, we only sell new books. Every book you order from us arrives in brand-new condition directly from publishers and distributors, not from secondhand sources or private sellers.
Are you affiliated with Amazon or Barnes and Noble?
No, Mazadastore is an independent bookstore operated by Cjoy LLC. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any major retail chain. We are a smaller operation focused on curating quality titles in our three core categories.
Ordering and Payment
How do I place an order?
Browse our catalog, add the books you want to your cart, and proceed to checkout. You will be asked for your shipping address, billing information, and payment details. Once you submit your order, you will receive a confirmation email within a few minutes containing your order number and full summary.
Do I need to create an account to buy from you?
No, you can check out as a guest without creating an account. However, creating an account makes it easier to track your orders, save your addresses for faster checkout, and review your purchase history.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept PayPal and all major credit and debit cards through Stripe, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, and JCB. Full details are available on our Payment Policy page.
Is it safe to enter my card information on your site?
Yes. Our website uses SSL encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers, and your card details are sent directly to Stripe, which maintains the highest level of payment security certification in the industry. Mazadastore never stores your full card number.
Why was my payment declined?
Payment declines usually come from your bank rather than our system. Common reasons include insufficient funds, an expired card, a mismatch between your billing address and the address on file with your bank, or a security hold placed by your card issuer on online transactions. Contacting your bank is typically the fastest way to resolve the issue.
Can I cancel my order after placing it?
Yes, within 12 hours of placing your order and before it enters the shipping stage. To cancel, email contact@mazadastore.com with your order number and "Cancel Order" in the subject line. After the 12-hour window or once the order has shipped, you will need to use our standard return process instead.
Can I change my shipping address after ordering?
If you contact us within 24 hours of placing the order and before the package has shipped, we can update the address for you. Once the order is handed over to the carrier, we can no longer change the destination.
Shipping and Delivery
How long does shipping take?
Standard processing takes 2 to 4 business days, and standard delivery takes 6 to 8 business days after your order ships. In total, most orders arrive within 8 to 12 business days from the day you place the order. Full details are on our Shipping Policy page.
How much does shipping cost?
Orders of $99 or more ship free. Orders under $99 are charged a flat shipping fee of $7.99, regardless of how many books you order.
Do you ship internationally?
No, Mazadastore currently ships only within the contiguous United States, which includes the 48 continental states and Washington D.C.
Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or PO Boxes?
Unfortunately, we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, PO Boxes, APO, FPO, or DPO military addresses, or United States territories such as Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands at this time.
Which shipping carriers do you use?
We ship through FedEx, UPS, and USPS. The specific carrier assigned to your order depends on your delivery address and the most efficient available route on the day of shipment.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a direct link to the carrier's tracking page. If you created an account, you can also view tracking information in your order history.
What if my package is marked as delivered but I cannot find it?
First, check with household members, neighbors, and your building's mail room. Also look around your property in case the carrier left the package somewhere less visible. If you still cannot locate it after 48 hours, contact us at contact@mazadastore.com and we will open an investigation with the carrier.
Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for books in like-new condition. Full details are available on our Refund and Returns Policy page.
How do I return a book?
Email contact@mazadastore.com with your order number, the title you are returning, and a brief reason for the return. We will send you a Return Authorization within one business day with instructions and the return address. Please do not send returns without authorization, because unauthorized returns cannot be tracked or processed.
Do I pay for return shipping?
If the book arrived damaged, defective, or if we shipped the wrong item, we cover the return shipping entirely and provide a prepaid return label. If you are returning for a reason unrelated to a mistake on our end, such as changing your mind or ordering the wrong title, you are responsible for the return shipping cost.
Is there a restocking fee?
No. Mazadastore does not charge any restocking fees. Whatever you return in acceptable condition is refunded in full.
How long does a refund take?
Once we receive and inspect your returned book, we issue the refund within 3 to 5 business days to your original payment method. After we process it on our end, your bank typically takes another 2 to 10 business days to post the credit to your account.
What if my book arrives damaged?
Email contact@mazadastore.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of both the damaged book and the shipping packaging. We will send a replacement at no cost or issue a full refund if you prefer. In most cases, you do not need to return the damaged book.
Can I exchange a book for a different title?
Yes. Email us with the title you are returning and the title you want in its place. We will confirm availability and pricing before moving forward. Exchanges are processed within 3 to 5 business days after we receive and approve your return.

What book categories do you carry?
Mazadastore specializes in three categories, which are Biographies and Memoirs, Cookbooks and Food, and Self-Help. We focus on these areas to offer a carefully selected catalog rather than a massive warehouse of every title ever printed.
Are all your books new?
Yes, every book we sell is brand new, purchased directly from publishers or authorized distributors.
Do you carry ebooks or audiobooks?
No, we sell physical books only. We do not offer digital formats such as ebooks, audiobooks, or downloadable content.
What if the book I want is not on your site?
We focus our catalog on curated titles within our three categories rather than carrying every book available. If you are looking for a specific title not on our site, feel free to email contact@mazadastore.com and we can let you know whether it fits our catalog direction.
Are the recipes and advice in your books safe to follow?
The books we sell contain content written by their respective authors, and Mazadastore is the retailer, not the author or publisher. For cookbooks, please consider food allergies, dietary restrictions, and personal health conditions before preparing any recipe. For self-help titles, remember that the content is intended for informational purposes and does not replace professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Privacy and Account
How do you protect my personal information?

Do you sell my information to third parties?
No. Mazadastore sells books, not personal information. We share information only with operational partners such as payment processors and shipping carriers, who are contractually limited to using that information strictly to deliver your order.
How do I unsubscribe from marketing emails?
Every marketing email we send contains an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click the link and you will be removed from the marketing list within a few business days. If you prefer, you can also email contact@mazadastore.com and ask to be removed manually. Transactional emails related to your active orders are separate and continue as long as there are orders to update you about.
I am a California resident. What are my privacy rights?
As a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act including the right to know what information we have about you, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. How do I delete my account?
Email contact@mazadastore.com with your account email address and a request to close the account. We will process the request within a few business days, subject to any data we are legally required to retain for tax and accounting purposes.

How quickly do you respond?
We aim to respond to every customer inquiry within one business day. For shipping issues that require carrier investigation, full resolution may take 5 to 7 business days, but you will receive an initial acknowledgment and a clear timeline within one business day.
What if I have a complaint or dispute about a charge?
Please contact us first at contact@mazadastore.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. In nearly every case, we can resolve payment concerns directly within 1 to 5 business days, which is much faster than the chargeback process. If we cannot resolve the issue to your satisfaction, you retain all rights available to you under your bank's dispute procedures.
